Buying Of N100m Nomination Form Is Part Of Processes, Not Cost Of Governance- Tunde Bakare

The general overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare has spoken on his reasons for vying for the president under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.

The cleric who formally declared his interest for the plum job on Monday in Abuja had picked the party’s nomantion and expression of interest form last week.

Bakare, an unrepentant critic of the government had never hid his interest in ruling Nigeria as president. He had once disclossed that he is the 16th president of Nigeria after president Muhammadu Buhari who is the 15th.

In other word, the man of God is ordained to succeed Buhari after the completion of his tenure in 2023 according to what he claimed God told him.

Speaking on the Monday edition of Politics Today on Channels TV which was exclusively monitored by RovingNaija, Pastor Tunde Bakare said he has no doubt in his mind that he is the successor of the president.

Asked if the purchase of 100 million naira form is not too much having been a regular critic of the government on the high cost of governance and wasteful nature of this administration, the preacher turned politician revealed that buying the Form at such an exorbitant amount is the process it entails to achieve his mission.

He noted that such process is part of what he has been preaching against and what he will change when he gets there.Bakare explained that the one hundred million naira was singlehandedly raised by him without anybody contributing or purchasing the form for him.

He disclosed that there were people who were willing to either buy the form or contribute money to purchase it but he stopped them from doing so.

Responding to why he chose to realize his ambition under APC and not somewhere else, he said he was part of people who formed APC and he remains a founding member of the party. Hence, he is entitled to realize his political ambition under the party.

Bakare anchored his vision for Nigeria on three things: Peace, Progress and Prosperity (PPP).

He made this known while featuring on Channels TV Politics Today on Monday.
