PHOTOS: Immigration Opens Passport Front Office In Lagos 

The Nigeria Immigration Service has opened a passport front office in the Igbogbo community, Ikorodu, Lagos State. 

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayieku Local Council Development Area, Olusesan Daini, shared photos of the office on his X page on Saturday. 

He partly wrote, “I am thrilled to share the monumental success of the newly commissioned Nigerian Immigration Office Front Office right here in Igbogbo. 

“This accomplishment reflects the unwavering commitment of our visionary leaders to elevate our community. 

“On behalf of myself and the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, I want to appreciate the Hon. Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Controller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, the first-ever Yoruba citizen to lead the Nigerian Immigration Service. 

“Their dedication and leadership have opened new doors for our community, marking a historic milestone we’re immensely proud of. 

“The newly established front office promises a seamless passport application experience, easing the process for our residents. 

“This is a transformative development that aligns with our commitment to providing accessible and efficient services.”

In January 2023, the NIS opened a passport front office in Alimosho, Lagos.
