Minister of Education is a liar – ASUU

Academic activities have been grounded for seven months, lecturers are begging to feed, while students are left roaming the streets all over the country.

Despite these misnormal, the faceoff between the federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) continues.

The Minister of Education Adamu Adamu had said the government has met 80% of the union’s demand. He then announced a no-work no-pay rule.

But ASUU said the minister is not speaking the truth, claiming it had not met any of the union’s demand.

Speaking on Wednesday in a Channels TV program monitored by RovingNaija, Dele Ashiru, ASUU chariman, UNILAG chapter, said the minister is the most-lying of President Buhari’s administration.

“The Minister of Education is the most lying minister in this administration. Non of the ASUU demand has been met, not even one.” He said.

“All what the government said are just promises, none of them has been implemented.”
