The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has on Friday night revealed the promise of God for the ongoing 70th Anniversary of the Church.
The anniversary which is interwined with the RCCG annual convention began on Monday and came to its peak with the Holy Ghost Night on Friday, August 12 .
During the Holy Ghost service, Pastor Adeboye asked those who have waited on God for the fruit of the womb and were eventually answered between last year and this year to come to the altar with their babies for blessing and dedication.
The crowd of members who fell into that category was quite intimidating as both the old and new auditoriums altars were filled to the brim with parents and their babies.
After the prayer, Pastor Adeboye told congregation that what just happened was a child play compared to what God revealed to him about what will happen soon.
According to the cleric, while he was praying in his strong room, God asked him what he wanted as anniversary gift.
The G.O said he told God that since the event is a 70th anniversary of the Church, he would want God to give him 70,000 children as anniversary gift.
In response, he claimed that God told him that RCCG is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Annual Convention. So God told him He would add 40 to the 70 and He will make it 110,000 children all together.
Hence, God promised Pastor Adeboye that He would be blessing the church with 110,000 children as anniversary gifts.
The cleric fondly known as Daddy GO asked his members to expect several miracle babies in the next convention. The 70th anniversary with the theme: Perfect Jubilee eill come to an end on Sunday with a Thanksgiving service.
The Friday programme witnessed the presence of notable personalities among who is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Peter Obi who was said to be attending the church for the first time.
