Nigeria Jagajaga Rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem Set To Release Song In Memory Of Raymond Dokpesi

Nigerian rapper and former member of the defunct music group, Remedies, Eedris Abdulkareem has composed a new song which he dedicated to the memory of Late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Chairman Emeritus, DAAR Communication. High Chief Dokpesi was the late Founder of Daar Communications Plc.

The single titled ‘ DOKPESI SUN RE’ (Rest Well), which will hit the airwaves soon is in appreciation of the enormous contributions of the late Founder of the first privately owned media outfit which comprises : Raypower 100 & 106.5 FM stations, Africa Independent Television, AIT, and Faaji Fm, made enormous contributions to the music industry in Nigeria and Africa.

Abdul Kareem, in a statement issued by his business associate and singer Myke Pam for Lakreem Entertainment Inc. lauded Dokpesi’s giant strides and contribution to the growth and development of the creative industry.

The rapper known for hit songs like: Nigeria jagajaga, Mr Lecturer, The Country Hard, Mr Oko Omoge and many other songs, commiserated with the Dokpesi and DAAR family and described the death of the media mogul as very big loss and painful a occurrence.

The single ‘DOKPESI SUN RE’ which is expected to be released by Lakreem Entertainment Inc. on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, would be available on online music stores and streaming services.
