City humiliate Chelsea 6 – 0 to climb to the top of the EPL

The on-field display was masterful and the result was so clinical that even Coach Pep Guardiola could not wish for more as Manchester City, Sunday, handed Chelsea their worst defeat in 26 years with a 6 – 0 drubbing at the Etihad Stadium.

With this victory, City leaps to the top of the English Premier League while Chelsea drop to sixth position behind resurgent Arsenal.

Raheem Sterling opened scoring in the 4^th minute of the match and made it a brace in the 80^th minutes. But the star of the match was Sergio Aguero who scored a hat trick in the much anticipated encounter.

Aguero’s goals came in the 13^th and 19^th minutes before he added a third one via a penalty in the 56^th minute.

Also on the scorers list is Likay Gundogan who added his name in the 25^th minute.

Now back at the pinnacle of the league, this is a victory that City will cherish for a long time to come and Coach Guardiola is ecstatic about the victory for his side.
