PHOTOS: Lagos Demolishes Illegal Structures Around Schools 

Officials of the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance Department of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, demolished illegal structures built around primary schools and other areas of the state. 

The spokesperson for the ministry, Kunle Adeshina, revealed this in photos shared on his X handle on Tuesday evening. 

According to him, the operation followed an attack on the pre-enforcement team last week 

He wrote, “Following an attack on a pre-enforcement team last week, a reinforced team, yesterday, mobilised on enforcement to LA Primary School, Ago Hausa, Babani Street, Boundary Road, Ajeromi, removing all the illegal structures attached to the perimeter fence of the school.” 

In a separate post, Adeshina wrote, “Operatives from the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance dept of MOE&WR on Monday intensified its enforcement drive with the removal of all illegal structures on the perimeter fence of LA Primary School, Bakare Faro Street, Mosafejo Bus stop, Amukoko.”
