Labour Party And PDP Are Bad Losers- Lagos Deputy Gov., Obafemi Hamzat

The deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat has described the Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party as bad losers in the just concluded presidential and State elections.

The two political parties lost the presidential and some of their key states in the Governorship and houses of Assembly elections which were conducted in February 25 and March 18 respectively.

They claimed that both elections were rigged and the results manipulated.

During the governorship election, Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and his supporters claimed that they were disenfranchised at their various polling units and that consequently led to their loss at the governorship election.

While doing a postmortem of the elections and its result during his interview on Tuesday edition of Channels TV Sunrise Daily, Hamzat described the two parties as bad losers.

He said: “Labour Party and PDP are bad losers.”

The deputy governor revealed that where they won, they claimed that election was free and fair there. But anywhere they lost, the election was rigged and the result manipulated!

He called on both parties to accept the outcome of the election and move on as there can only be a winner and loser in an election.
