Security operatives arrest  drugs dealers, Intercept 22 sacks of illicit drugs 

Men of the So-Safe Corps of Ogun State, have arrested two suspected dealers in illicit drugs, and intercepted four motorcycles conveying 22 sacks of Indian hemp.

The two suspects were arrested at Abule Sikiru, along Igbo-Ora Road, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the state.

This is contained in a statement by the Commander of the corps, Soji Ganzallo, which was sent to RovingNaija News through the Corps spokesman, Moruf Yusuf.

The statement reads: “At about 0230hrs on the 11th of December, 2023, the Oke Ogun Area Command officers of the Corps, while on routine patrol at Abule Sikiru, along Igbo-Ora Road in Abeokuta North Local Government area, spotted four Bajaj motorbikes.”

The statement said there were four motorbikes used for the operation, three of which were used to convey 22 sacks of Marijuana. It said the fourth bike had two other people on it and they were leading the other members of the gang. According to the statement, they were armed “with varieties of local charms.”

“The two apprehended suspects, the exhibit (22 sacks of Marijuana), and the four motorbikes were handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at its State Headquarters in Alamutu, Abeokuta North Local Government Area, for further investigation and likely prosecution,” the statement said.
