Breaking: Gunmen Kill Olajide Sowore, Younger Brother To Publisher Of Sahara Reporters

The number of Nigerians who were murdered in their prime by gun men has continued to increase with the latest victim being Felix Olajide Sowore, younger brother to the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore.

Olajide was killed on Saturday from gunshots from suspected kidnappers.

According to a post on Facebook, Omoyele Sowore stated that Olajide was shot and killed near Okada in Edo State.

“My immediate younger brother, Olajide Sowore was today shot and killed near Okada in Edo State by reportedly herdsmen/kidnappers on his way from Igbinedion University in Edo sate where he is studying Pharmacy.”

Sowore also noted that the deceased had earlier decided not to go to school to face his music career before making a U-turn to enroll at the school.

“You lived your life so that everyone could be alright but now assassinated by everything that’s not alright!”

Omoyele also took to his other social media handle to write:

“Saddest day yet! They murdered my little brother, just like that but this act in itself will not delay the day of justice. We will continue for a just and secure society!
