In the bid to promote and deepen the culture of transparency and accountability, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC started the monthly publication of its financial reports for the benefit of Nigerians in 2016. Consequently, under the headship of its Group Managing Director, Mr. Mele Kolo Kyari, the Corporation received commendation from the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, EITI, in November, 2020 for the landmark publication of the 2018 and 2019 audited financial reports of the group. In line with the uncommon culture of openness by the current leadership of the NNPC, RovingNaija hereby publishes the most recent monthly financial report of the NNPC in the year 2020 public scrutiny, analysis and comments by stakeholders and concerned Nigerians.
