The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported that 168 persons are infected with the Corona Virus, COVID-19 in Nigeria on Tuesday.
According to information, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has the highest number of 61 new infections, with Lagos following closely behind with 50 new infections.
Kaduna state reported 27 new infections while Oyo and Rivers state reported 12 and 6 respectively.
Other states include Katsina- 5, Ogun – 3, Kwara-2, Edo -1 and Kano -1.
The new infections bring the number of infected persons in the country to 66,607.
The NCDC said that so far 66,607 cases have been confirmed, 62,311 discharged while 1,169 deaths have been recorded pan Nigeria.
