After Stabbing His Passenger To Death, Tricycle Rider Lynched By Irate Youths Over 50 Naira T-Fare 

A Tricycle Rider has been lynched for stabbing his passenger to death in Bayelsa State.

The passenger was allegedly stabbed to death by the tricycle rider over fifty Naira transport fare.

A statement by the Spokesman of the Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat condemns the action of the tricycle rider, who was also lynched to death by irate youths and appealed to members of the community to be calm.

According to sources, the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon at the Saptex junction along the Melford Okilo Road in the Bayelsa State capital.

When our correspondent visited the scene, the lifeless body of the Keke rider was spotted alongside some burnt commercial tricycle as there was traffic in the area amidst heavy security presence to forestall any further breakdown of law and order.
