UCL Draw: Nigeria’s Zaidu Sanusi to face Ronaldo

The draws for the Round of 16 matches of the UEFA Champions League have been conducted with some mouthwatering ties on the card.

Nigeria’s Zaidu Sanusi and his FC Porto teammates have a tough hurdle ahead of them as they have been drawn against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus.

Many already see the Portuguese side as the weaker team; especially going by their antecedence.

On 11 occasions that they have made it to the Round of 16, Porto have won only four times; they have won only two of their last six ties at this stage.

For Juventus, they would be extra careful this time having been knocked out at this stage of the competition last season by Lyon who were also seen as underdogs.

In other exciting pairings, Barcelona will come up against PSG and a Lionel Messi vs Neymar clash is on the cards for fans to savor.

First-timers, Borussia Monchengladbach were paired with Manchester City, who are seriously chasing a first Champions League triumph, led by Pep Guardiola.

Elsewhere, Chelsea will play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 in what is arguably the most difficult pairing in Monday’s draw.
