Lagos hunts for boy who boasted about raping girl in viral video

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has appealed to the public in an attempt to locate a boy who boasted to his friends about raping a girl in a widely shared video. 

According to the footage, the boy was heard recounting how the girl told him she was afraid of getting pregnant and refused to have sex with him.

He described holding on to the girl and forcing his way inside her, even though she didn’t consent. 

Following the release of the video, the agency asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them via social media or their toll-free hotline. 

DSVA wrote,  “Trigger Warning.  Our attention has been drawn to this video. If anyone has any information as to where this happened, kindly get in touch with us immediately. 

“Please use our toll-free hotline or send us a direct message through our social media platforms.”
