EPL: Ndidi shoots Leicester City to the top spot

Wilfred Ndidi scored his first Premier League goal since September 2019 on Tuesday night and it was a beauty to behold.

The goal from Ndidi and another from James Maddison ensured that Leicester City secured a 2-0 win over Chelsea and momentarily moved them to the top spot on the Premier League standings.

Ndidi’s goal came just six minutes into the game played at the King Power stadium.

The Nigerian scored with a sumptuous shot from a distance.

This is first time Brendan Rodgers is wining in 16 games v Chelsea however for Frank Lampard the pressure seems to be culminating.

The Blues who were initially hovering around the top spot on the league table are now occupying the 8th spot on the log
