Ahmed Musa linked with fresh move to Southampton
Premier League side Southampton are reportedly considering a move for Ahmed Musa as West Bromwich Albion are yet to agree on a deal for the forward.
According to Daily Mail, the Saints, as well as two other EPL clubs, are amongst a host of clubs who are monitoring Musa’s situation.
Musa has been linked with the Baggies for some time now. He is a free agent. And the Daily Mail reports that he has trained with Sam Allardyce’s side and undergone medical tests.
However, a move to the Hawthorns appears to be in a little doubt. According to the Daily Mail, the club’s owners are struggling to find the funds to sign the 28-year-old.
It is suggested that Kamil Grosicki could make a difference should he leave in the near future. But a number of rival clubs are now tracking Musa’s situation.
The Daily Mail reports that the Saints, Brighton and Burnley are other options for Musa with a return to CSKA Moscow for a third stint also on the cards for the Super Eagles captain.
It is suggested that the other clubs are either ready to make an offer or willing to invite Musa in for training.
