Ongoing killings: We have never been this close to war since 1966 – Dele Momodu
Mr. Dele Momodu, a journalist/publisher, businessman, and motivational speaker, has issued warning against the ongoing killings in Nigeria.
Speaking on his twitter handle, Momodu, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and publisher of Ovation International magazine, said the warning he is issuing is half word which is enough for the wise.
He said this is the closest Nigeria has been to war since the 1966 tribal war which gave birth to the civil war of 1967.
According to him, it is disheartening that Nigerians are back to the same vicious cycle where, ethnic groups sack, attack and kill each other.
He tweeted, “Half a word is enough for the wise! Let me say without any fear of contradiction that we’ve never been this close to a war since 1966 and it’s sad and disheartening that we are back to that vicious cycle where ethnic groups are sacking, attacking and killing themselves!!!”
