Police Arrest 28 Suspects At Black Spots In Lagos

The Lagos state  Police Command sub unit Rapid Response Squad have arrested 28 suspects from different black spots across the state. 

This was made known in a statement posted in the RRS X handle on Sunday, February 18. 

According to the statement, areas where the suspects were arrested include Ketu, Mile 12 Under-bridge, Old Toll Gate and Motorways adding that the suspects are to be charged to court. 

 “In continuation of the drive to reduce crime in Lagos metropolis through sustained monitoring of black spots, RRS operatives at about 11:25pm on Thursday, arrested 28 suspects.

“Some of the notorious areas where the suspects were arrested include Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, 

OldToll Gate and Motorways. The 28 suspects were those screened from 46 others earlier arrested during an overnight operation. 18 of the suspects were released after thorough screening.

“The 28 suspects are to be charged to court in line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.”
