APC charges Police to arrest man seen brutalizing Police officer in viral video

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has charged the Nigerian Police Force to investigate and prosecute an act of violence against a Police officer in a viral video seen on Twitter on Wednesday.

In the video, a man was seen arguing with a police man on an open truck.

The man appeared determined to get the Police man to disembark from the truck but the Police officer stood his ground. When all his aggressive efforts to get the officer to disembark from the vehicle failed, the unidentified man smashed a bottle on the head of the Police officer.

In its response to the incident, the APC on its official twitter handle wrote, “as much as we stand against Police Brutality, we must also condemn acts like this in the strongest of terms.

“We call on the Nigerian Police Force to investigate this video, especially if it’s recent, and prosecute the perpetrator of this evil act.
