Europa League: Man United crush Roma at Old Trafford
Manchester United Thursday night showed a high level of tenacity in their Europa League semi-final first leg tie as they overcame an initial scare before beating Roma 6-2 at Old Trafford.
Despite taking the lead in the 9th minute through Bruno Fernandes, United saw themselves trailing 1-2 at the end of the first half.
However, a masterclass performance in the second 45 minutes saw the Red Devils turned things around in stunning fashion.
Fernandes, Edison Cavani (2), Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood all getting on target to give the Red Devils a high level of breathing space going into the second leg in Italy.
