Kanu threatens retaliatory action against Nigerian security forces
According to reports just reaching RovingNaija, the leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has sent a letter to Nigerian security forces to express the resolve of his group to retaliate for any live lost by any indigene of the South-East as a result of aggression from security operatives in the country.
In the message, Mazi Kanu vowed that he will track down and punish any Army or Police officer responsible for the death of anyone from the South-east.
in a series of tweets he said:
“If you are a commander of troops in the Nigerian Army or police, hear this: That you are wearing a uniform and adorning a rank, it does not make you invincible.
“If any #Biafran is killed on your orders, you will be hunted and punished, sooner than later. We are taking stock and bidding our time,” he tweeted.
