Leaked audio of Kanu directing IPOB members to kill security agents surfaces online

A leaked audio, in which a voice purported to be that of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) was heard directing men suspected to be foot soldiers of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) the military arm of the group (IPOB) to strike at military men is now trending online on Tuesday.

In the audio (not video), which was also heard by https://rovingnaija.com/ the purported voice of Kanu could be distinctly heard telling his operatives to “device a strategy to outwit the Army,” while saying that “there are some guns in Edo State as we speak… you should use the guns to kill one or two officers, take the guns from them and kill other people as well – that is how it is going to be,” the voice said.

The voice also told the operatives that (Nigerian) Soldiers can not continue their campaign in the South-east for three weeks because if they continue to move their troops down (from the North) Boko Haram will over run them. He concluded by charging the members to “kill the Army wherever the see them.”
