Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has selected two debutants in his starting lineup for the crucial 2022 World Cup qualifier away to Cape Verde
Innocent Bonke and Kingsley Michael will start on their Super Eagles debut against hosts Cape Verde today at the 5,000–capacity Estádio Municipal Adérito Sena.
Both players will play in defensive midfield.
Russia-based winger Chidera Ejuke will also start on the wings ahead of Henry Onyekuru.
The team will be led by captain Ahmed Musa.
At the moment, the Super Eagles are on three points same as Liberia who have played a game more and also have an inferior goal difference.
Both Cape Verde and the Central African Republic have one point each with the latter playing two games already.
