Fani-Kayode Asks Nigerian Govt To Reciprocate The US Visa Ban Placed On Election Riggers

The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has advised the federal government to reciprocate the Visa Ban slammed on politicians involved in election malpractises.

The American government had before the election warned politicians in Nigerian who were planning to rig the February 25 and March 18 presidential and state governorship and Houses of Assembly elections that they would be banned from entering the country.

True to its threat, the US government confirmed that those who were found guilty of electoral crime have been placed on Visa Ban.

Reacting to the development, the former Minister of Aviation who is also one of the spokespersons of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council, asked the Nigerian government to reciprocate the action taken by its US counterpart.

In other words, Fani Kayode expects the Federal government to place a ban on American citizens planning to come to Nigeria.

Better still, FFK is urging the government to place a visa ban on American politicians who may possibly get involved in election rigging in the 2024 US presidential election.

His reaction has elicited diverse responses on social media.
