Former president Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday met with presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi in the United Kingdom.
The reason for the meeting was not officially revealed, but RovingNaija learnt it is connected to the growing frenzy in the political atmosphere in Nigeria ahead of the general elections in February 2023.
This is the second time Obasanjo and Obi will be meeting.
Also present at the UK meeting was Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike, Benue governor Samuel Ortom, former governor of Cross River state Donald Duke.
