The Lagos State Government and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO-UN) on Friday, in Lagos signed the Unilateral Trust Fund Agreement for the development of the Coconut Value Chain in the State.
The State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya signed on behalf of the State Government while the FAO Country Representative, Dr. Fred Kafero signed on behalf of the Food and Agriculture Organization.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry Of Agriculture, Mr. Hakeem Adeniji; the Senior Special Assistant to Mr. Governor on Agriculture, Mr. Gbolabo Olaniwun; the General Manager, Lagos State Coconut Development Authority (LASCODA), Mr. Dapo Olakulehin; Directors and other top government functionaries.
