At Old Trafford, the Group F tie between Manchester United and Young Boys ended in a 1-1 draw as Ralf Rangnick tried out some youngsters.
The other Group F match between Atalanta and Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal was postponed on Wednesday because of heavy snow in northern Italy.
The kickoff was initially delayed by 20 minutes before it was decided to reschedule.
