Makinde plans uninterrupted power supply for Oyo State

Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde is planning to set up an independent power project in order to develop the state.

He said this on Sunday when he attended the 2021 Christmas carol service and Nine lessons organized by the Oyo state government.

The Governor said that it is his responsibility and that of his administration to ensure that the resources of the state is well managed.

Makinde also said “our plan is to link all zones in Oyo State in order to boost our economy and grow our internally generated revenue. This is why we are fixing major intercity roads in Oyo State first”, he tweeted.

He explains that he is opening up places and making sure all other areas are also opened and developed so that we don’t choke ourselves due to the inability to expand infrastructure.

The Governor asked the residence of Oyo state to make good use of their resources in order to be part of the development of the state.

He thanked everyone for coming to support the prayer and also mention that in 2022 political parties will be saddled with the responsibility of choosing candidates to contest in the 2023 general election.
