Police arrest DSS and NSCDC operative for kidnapping in Osun State
The Osun State police command has arrested four personnel of the Department of State Service (DSS) and Nigeria Security of Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for kidnapping.
Olawale Olokode, the commissioner of police in Osun State mentioned that Ajibola Ogunibi connived with some DSS and NSCDC Operative to kidnap and demand ransom from a Bureau De Change operator.
The commissioner further disclosed that the sum of N15,000 was given to Ogunibi after the ransom was paid by the Bureau De Change operator.
The DSS and NSCDC Operative arrested along with Tajudeen Olalaken and his gang of suspected cultists had three pistols, live cartridges, and three other dangerous weapons were recovered from them.
Mr. Olokode also noted that all those arrested have confessed of the crime and would be charged to court for trial.
