Caught In The Act! Five Cable Vandals Arrested, Paraded In Lagos

Not less than five people suspected of vandalising Lagos State Electricity Board Cable were arrested and paraded by Operatives of the Alausa division of the State Police command on Thursday.

The cables were mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company in the area before they were vandalized by the hoodlums.

The suspects are Ukah Gabriel ‘m’ aged 29, Emmanuel Ajikula ‘m’ aged 29, Athanisus Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 28, Titus Akuha ‘m’ aged 18 and Felix Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 27.

They were caught in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023, following receipt of credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area.

Tools and vandalized cables were recovered from the suspects.

The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
