Breaking: FG Inaugurates 37-Member Minimum Wage Tripartite Committee

Vice President Kashim Shettima has inaugurated a 37-man Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage with a mandate to recommend a new national minimum wage for the country.

The Vice President arrived at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa at about 1 pm.

Shettima while inaugurating the committee charged the members to consider the hardship caused by the removal of fuel subsidy to alleviate the suffering of the people.

The Committee with thirty seven Members is to be Chaired by Bukar Goni Aji, Former Head of Service of the Federation.

RovingNaija reports that the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), Segun Imohiosen, said the planned inauguration of the Committee is sequel to the approval of President Bola Tinubu.
