Lagos will soon dominate the fashion world – Swazzi

A singer, fashion expert and a businessman, Okolo Miracle Obiechina popularly known as Swazzi has shown his readiness to dominate the fashion world.

The Lagos based star said fashion is an art and form of self-expression which he wants to build on just as he said he derives pleasure in looking good and making others look their best too.

He disclosed that the company has created opportunities for other creatives to showcase their talent, noted that the brand also, once in a while source for interns to groom as they are majorly a country builder.

He said the Life Style Lagos was born barely a year ago saying “It’s funny how a hobby became my means of livelihood. It was a name myself and my friends jokingly gave the brand and I went with it.”

“To me Fashion is Art, it’s a lifestyle, it helps me express my emotions and also makes room to sync with my creativity. Whenever I am engaging myself with anything fashion, it gives peace. I find it very therapeutic.

“As a child, I have always embraced fashion. The name Swazzi was curled out of Swag boy which was what I was fondly called then back in high school. It is needless to say I derive pleasure in looking my best and making others look their best too. Myself and fashion are forever buddies.”

Sharing his experience on fashion business archive “Well, just like every other career, there’s been hurdles to jump. My first major styling was for the renowned singer Ric Hassani’s THUNDER FIRE YOU music video. Then we had WAJE, HARRYSONG, SIMI, NINI OF BBNAIJA, KAFFY THE DANCE BOSS, CALEMA (Portugal) JayPaul and many other entertainers I can not remember as of now. They all believed in my creative mind and the Brand. We had well over 100 clients in our debut year and I am most grateful to all of them and most especially God for giving me this distinct talent.

“We had intention of celebrating our one year anniversary in grand style but you know with the pandemic and the social distancing rules we have decided to put it on hold.

“Our unique selling point will be the attention to the client’s wants. We don’t take for granted their expectations and we deliver. Executing every assignment before us is what sells us!

He said as a company, they are looking out for collaborations as they have done some projects with some big brands and can’t wait to share it with every other “thelifestylagos” stan. “But I promise you will hear and see us vividly this year,” he ascribed.
