The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and presidential aspirant for the 2023 elections, Bola Tinubu has denied media reports that he travelled out of the country for medical reasons.

Rather, the former two-term governor of Lagos State says he is in London as part of efforts to kick off his presidential campaign as the country prepares for the general elections holding next year.

According to Tunde Rahman, his media aide, Mr. Tinubu is in London to consult with stakeholders on his 2023 presidential ambition.

In a tweet, Mr. Rahman said: Asiwaju Tinubu is engaged in meetings and consultations over his presidential interest.

“Some of these consultations are holding abroad. So, he is in The UK at present, this is why!”.
