Immediate past commissioner of police of Lagos State Akeem Odumosu has retired.
Odumosu retired with the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of police.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Oba Gbolahan Lawal of Iru land, former IGP Musiliu Smith, Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos and other top Lagos State officials witnessed the ceremony organised to celebrate his retirement.
Odumosu recently attained the rank of AIG. He joined the police force on March 3, 1990, and served for 32 years. His retirement paved way for the appointment Abiodun Alabi, who was previously Commissioner of Police of Bauchi State.
