Emirates Airline, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), says it will resume passenger flight operations between Dubai and Nigeria on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
The airline said that passengers traveling to Dubai would undergo an additional COVID-19 test and remain in self-quarantine until the results of the test are received.
The development comes a day after the federal government approved the resumption of flights between the two countries.
Nigeria had suspended the carrier from flying commercial flight to the country as a response to UAE’s earlier ban.
