Clash rocks Soludo’s swearing-in as Obiano’s wife slaps Bianca Ojukwu
There was a clash at the swearing-in event of the new governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, on Thursday in Awka.
It was not a clash of hoodlums or miscreants, but that of dignitaries. Out-gone governor Willi Obiano’s wife, Ebelechukwu, slapped Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of late Chuwkuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
The reason for the clash was not ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
But it was gathered that after Soludo was sworn in, Ebelechukwu walked to where Bianca was seated and slapped her.
And immediately, both women started engaging themselves in fisticuffs. The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs. Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action.
There was a temporary commotion at the venue as guests ran helter-skelter before normalcy was restored and Obiano’s wife was moved out of the venue.
The unfortunate incident forced Obiano and his wife to leave the event immediately.
