Since the death of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, it has been from one damning revelation to another. Until she died, even her family did not seem to have a clue of the nature of the storm that rocked and eventually sank her marriage.
The latest revelation about the late ‘Ekwueme’ crooner is the alleged secret wife of her husband. Nigerians woke up to the shocking news of the secret wife her husband, Peter Nwachukwu was said to have gotten married to before she met the late singer.
According to the report published on Vanguard News, it was alleged that Mr. Nwachukwu wedded the woman with whom she had a romantic relationship in his church but hid the union from Osinachi and her family.
The secret, however busted when one of his sons whose name was not mentioned stumbled on an old album that was carefully kept by his father in his room.
According to the story, the boy gained access to his father’s room when he was not around and did not remember to lock his door. While in the room, something told him to search the room and in the process, he found the old album.
Going through the album, he realized that his father did not only have a secret wife but had also lived a wayward life in the past. He noted that he returned the album to where his father kept it and concealed the information from her mother and anyone else because of the consequence it might have on the family.
After revealing the secrete to the public, Osinachi’s family was said to have been shocked by the revelation. One of the family members disclosed that if they had known that Osinachi’s husband was once married, they would not have allowed the late singer marry to Nwachukwu.
Osinachi, a lead singer at Dunamis International Headquarters died last Friday, April 8.
