2 Days After Abduction, Decomposed Body Of Ex- Kaduna Community Leader Found In Bush

Mr James Abu, the former head of Akilbu District in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna state has been found dead.

The discovery of his decomposed body came about two days after he was reportedly kidnapped on Monday by terrorists who took him to an unknown destination.

It was reported that after he was abducted, family and community members waited  anxiously for a call from his abductors to negotiate his release but to know avail.

Two days later precisely on Wednesday, his body was found in a bush. He had been gruesomely murdered. 

The development was confirmed by one of the community members, Makere Danjuma Mohammed who wrote and posted the picture on his Facebook page same day.

He wrote: “the death has been confirmed of Mr James Abu the former Overseer of the defunct Akilbu District in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. He was kidnapped about two days ago only for his corpse to be discovered today in a bush. He was gruesomely murdered in cold blood by armed marauders or terrorists. May his soul rest in peace.”
