You Have 24 Hours To Pay N6m Or Have Him Killed- Abductors Of Abuja Monarch Threaten Family
After reducing his ransom from 20 million naira to 6 million naira, Abductors of traditional ruler of Bukpe community in Kwali area of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi have issued 24 hours ultimatum to his family to either pay the money or have him being killed.
This was disclosed by a member of the family who spoke to Daily Trust Correspondent on Wednesday.
The abductors had initially slammed a ransom of 20 million naira on the family if they wanted the Monarch to be released.
This was about two weeks ago after the terrorists successfully invaded the palace at night and took him to an unknown location.
The kidnappers who later contacted the family told them they would not release him until they pay 20million naira as ransom. They advised the family to sell his house so as to raise the amount.
Having failed to raise the money after two weeks, the terrorists called the family to inform them of the reduction from 20m to 6m naira but with a deadly threat if they failed to raise the money in the next 24 hours.
“It was just today around 10am that they called and threatened to kill the chief if the family fails to bring N6m after 24 hours. The threat has thrown the entire family into confusion as we don’t know how to raise the N6m.” One of the family members told Daily Trust.
