2023: How Ngige Responded When Asked If APC Govt. Has Fixed Security Problems

Former governor of Anambra State and Minister of Labour and Productivity has shed more light into what President Muhammadu Buhari-led government is doing to curtail the menace of insecurity currently bedevilling the country.

Ngige who appeared on the Thursday edition of Channels TV Politics Today spoke extensively on the several measures put in place by the government to ensure the protection of lives and properties of the citizens.

Ngige who is a presidential aspirant under the ruling All Progressive Congress is of the belief that Nigerians will massively vote APC candidate in 2023 election because of the positive impact of its administration on the people since 2015 it has been in power.

When he was specifically asked if the security problems which was one of the cardinal points of their campaign promises has been taken care of, Nigige answered and said that Nigerians are faring better under this government than the previous one.

He asked his host, Seun Okinbaloye the number of local government that were under the grip of Boko Haram before the APC administration came onboard.

He reminded Nigerians that those local governments seized by Boko Haram during PDP administration have been recorvered and residents have returned to their homes today.

He agreed that insecurity is still a major challenge but the situation is not as bad as it is being exaggerated in the media.

Ngige claimed that he has what it takes to eradicate insecurity completely in the country if voted to power in 2023 but he will not disclose his strategy on a live TV.

He is however of the opinion that Nigerians are far better under this government than the previous administration as far as security of lives and properties is concerned.
