Osinbajo in Ibadan, follows Tinubu’s footsteps by visiting Olubadan
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has followed the footsteps of his now political rival by visiting the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun, at his Alarere Palace in Ibadan on Friday.
The VP left the Olubadan palace around 11:30 am.
His visit to the traditional ruler preceded a meeting with his presidential support groups in the state.
Shortly after the meeting with the Olubadan, Osinbajo proceeded to the Ibadan Civic Center where he is meeting with the support groups.
Dignitaries at the event include Chief Osunbor, Senator Teslim Folarin, Chief Niyi Akintola, Senator Bulkachuwa, Babafemi Ojudu.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu had visited the monarch on February 20 during a trip to Oyo State where he also met with the Alaafin of Oyo.
Tinubu and Osinbajo are top contenders for the presidential ticket when the All Progressives Congress do its primaries.
