Just In: President Tinubu Now Open To The Introduction Of State Police
The Federal Government has hinted that it’s considering the adoption of state Police to curb the rising insecurity in the Country.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Thursday after a meeting between President Bola Tinubu and State governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the Minister, the possibility of creating a state police structure will further be discussed.
He hinted that the President and State governors have agreed on working out the modalities in achieving the idea.
