As bandits continue to terrorize communities across Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari met with Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto state, on Tuesday.
The meeting was held at the presidential villa in Abuja.

TheCable learnt the insecurity afflicting Sokoto was the subject of the meeting.
Sokoto has been badly hit by banditry plaguing the northwest.
The president met with security chiefs last week over the persistent security crisis.
