Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Mallami has formally declared his intention to vie for Kebbi state governor in the forthcoming general election.

After months of speculations and denials, the AGF made the confirmation on Thursday in Abuja.

Mallami declared for the seat under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.

According to the minister, he is prompted by the calls of his people to serve them as governor of the state.
