I Never Had A Pair Of Shoe In My First 18 Years On Earth- Adeboye Reflects On Life Experience

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has spared some times to dig out some issues relating with his life experiences on Sunday.

The man of God reflected on this during his ministration at the May edition of monthly thanksgiving service of the church.

Adeboye who ministered from the church headquarters, Ebute Meta Lagos spoke extensively on the topic entitled: Supernatural Elevation.

According to him, Supernatural Elevation is defined as a way of attaining a greater height that cannot be ordinarily attained by ordinary efforts of man. It takes God’s intervention and divine power to achieve supernatural elevation.

Relating the message to his life, the man of God revealed that for the first 18 years of his life, he had no pair of shoes.

In other word, pastor Adeboye walked barefooted for eighteen years before he could boast of having shoes on his feet.

He however asked the congregation to see his life today. Daddy G.O as fondly called used his life as a living example of a supernatural elevation.

He noted that it is only God that could explain his journey from nobody to somebody today. He shared the message of how he asked for a mansion where he would live with his family but God decided to give him a city.

Initially, it was unbelievable. He claimed that people were mocking him. But today, the dream has become a reality.
