How My Ex- Boyfriend Locked Me Up, Raped Me- Juliet Ibrahim Opens Up On Abusive Relationship

The recent death of Osinachi Nwanchukwu appears to be forcing people out of their dieing corner and speaking up on abusive relationship they are going through.

Since the incident went viral on social media last month, there has been litany of revelations about devastating experiences women are going through in either their marriages or relationships expecially the celebrities.

The recent revelation was that of a Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim who spoke with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.

In the interview, the fair complexion actress narrated how her Ex- boyfriend locked her up in his room and raped her daily. She said it took the intervention of her sister to rescue her after some days.

Ibrahim noted that when she confronted her ex-lover and told him that what he did was rape, the latter insisted that they were in a relationship.

She said, “I told him what he did was rape and he said but we were in a relationship. But was I ready, that was the question, did I say I was In the mood?

“I kept saying no, stop it, stop it, you pin me down and you’re doing whatever you wanted to do. You’re smiling saying, ‘don’t worry’, and you’re kissing whilst I’m crying, that means you’re a rapist and I had to leave that relationship.”

“I fought my way out of that relationship because he even locked me up in his house for days until my sister Sonia came to find me.”
