May 1st Tragedy: Many Trapped As Three-Story Building Collapses In Lagos
Another tragedy has struck in Ibadan Street, Ebute Meta area of Lagos on Sunday as yet to be ascertained number of residents got trapped in a three-story building that collapsed in the area.
The incident reportedly happened around 9pm on Sunday.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, the ecene was noticably crowded with sympathisers who were making frantic efforts to rescue the trapped victims.
Also in the video. a motionless lady allegedly brought out of the rubbles was lying on the floor. It could not however be confirmed if she was still alive or not.
It was gathered that a distress call has already been made to Lagos state Emergency workers but non has arrived the venue as at around 9pm when it happened.
Lagos State fire service later confirmed the alert on its social media handle around 9:45PM and claimed it had arrived the venue.
