Faction In A’Ibom APC? Buhari’s Aide, Ita Enang Debunks Rift As He Picks #50m Guber Form

Senior Special Adviser to the president on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang has fully thrown his hat into the ring in Akwa Ibom state after picking the nomination form to run for the state governor in 2023.

The former lawmaker who picked the 50 million naira nomination form recently denied the existence of faction in Akwa Ibom APC which has been circulating within and outside the state for sometimes.

According to him, the All Progressive Congress in the state is united, big, vibrant and energetic enough to retain power in 2023. He however expressed optimism in the leadership of president Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership structure and National Chairman of the Party.

The former special assistant to the president on legislative matter reinterated that APC is devoid of faction or fracas in Akwa Ibom State as what looked like faction in the party has been properly handled. 

On his agenda for the people if elected as governor, Ita Enang while speaking to newsmen in Abuja after picking the nomination form, promised to declare a state of emergency on Infrastructure, Agriculture and Human Development.

“I will bring to the table accountability, change in the mode of doing things, concentration on the manner which we generate funds from the state to national level and working more with Federal Government by operating cordially with Federal Institutions to be able to bring development to the state.  

“I will give more attentions to agriculture, education and declaring emergency on the development of the youths and human development so as to be able to develop human infrastructure”, Sen. Ita Enang disclosed.
