Abike Dabiri-Erewa Chides Southwest Leaders For Holding Meeting Without Women

If there is one southwest politician who is not happy with the decision of Southwest Leaders to ignore women in their recent meeting in Lagos, it is the Chairperson of Nigerians In Diaspora Commission, Honorable Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The NIDCOM boss took to her social media handle on Saturday to stylishly express her disatisfaction about the decision.

Recall that former governor of Osun state and Ogun State, Bisi Akande and Segun Osoba had convened a meeting of southwest leaders on Friday at Lagos House, Marina.

The meeting which had in attendance governors, senators, members, House of Representatives and aspirants to various elective positions in 2023 was meant to foster unity and rancour-free campaign among the aspirants.

Reacting to the development, Abike Dabiri-Erewa wrote that meeting of southwest leaders without a woman, there is Godooo!

In other word, Mrs Erewa is questioning the rationale behind the decision of the Leaders to hold such a meeting without any woman in attendance knowing that women are also aspiring for elective post in 2023.
